Help us keep some kind of order during these roller derby bouts by becoming a member of Slaughter Law. Being an official is a great way to be (literally) right in the middle of the action of a roller derby bout. There are always plenty of positions available for on-skate officials and non-skating officials. Plus the skills you learn will make you invaluable to our league and other leagues in this area. ...and who doesn't want to be invaluable?

About Us...
The Slaughter County Roller Vixens are a league dedicated to advancing the sport of Women’s Flat Track Roller Derby. We are located in Kitsap County WA, but why do we call ourselves Slaughter County?
| In the late 1850's the area known today as Kitsap County was part of both King and Jefferson County. The area was rapidly growing as the hub of industrial activity due in no small part to its five lumber mills. Of King County’s 238 voters, 139 were living on the Kitsap Peninsula. |

| A county seat was needed on the peninsula since that was where the majority of the population was located. So a new county was created called Slaughter, commemorating Lt. William Alloway Slaughter who had been killed in a Native American skirmish near Auburn. Slaughter County was born on January 16, 1857. |
Although the original county name was quickly changed the spirit of this tough soldier in the northwestern wilderness still lives on 250 years later in the hearts of the girls who gear up and do battle out on the flat track.
