Those who attended the Wild West Showdown this year may remember the Paradise Roller Girls. They traveled all the way up from Hilo Hawaii to do battle with the more local leagues around here. As you can imagine there aren’t a whole lot of opportunities for an island based team to get bouting experience against other leagues. They held multiple fundraising events until they had enough money to make it out here last March though and we were more than happy to welcome them to some Pacific Northwest derby action! Now it’s time to repay the favor! The Slaughter County Roller Vixens are planning a trip to Hilo Hawaii to bring the fight back to the Paradise Roller Girls. We are asking for your help by donating to the cause. We will be hosting events during the summer including a bout against the Shanghaied Roller Dollse on Sep 15th. Stay tuned for more events that will help the Vixens bout our island derby sisters. |
